Summary:
Error in PostgreSQL install |
Detailed description |
|
I am trying to install version 3.0 of GREAT-ER from the December 2011 release CD.
The installation fails due to the following error:
"Error running C:\temp\postgresql_installer\createuser.exe "." "greater-db" "****" : The service user account 'greater-db' could not be created: The password is too short or not complex enough."
Text taken from bitrock_installer_8856.log" file (attached). Several passwords tried, with most complex being: "Greater123!@#". This password exceeds the domain requrements on my system.
Install tried on Windows 7 and XP machines. Same result. I have heard of other users with a similar problem, but was resolved with a password less complex than the one above.
Thanks for your help.
Chris
